While most eMTBs are getting heavier and harder to wrangle, the Orbea Rise M10 E-Mountain Bike goes in the complete opposite direction. Weighing in somewhere in the low 40 pound range, this 140mm travel trail bike weighs only slightly more than many conventional enduro builds, with a lightweight carbon frame and parts spec that lets Orbea use a much lighter drive unit and battery setup. The result is an eMTB that feels familiar, something you can pedal with the motor off and throw around to your hearts content. Designed with MTB purists in mind, this lightweight ebike leads the heavyweights into the future.
Carbon Fiber OMR Frame – Orbea Monocoque Race (OMR) fames add high modulus and high strength fibers to a standard layup to improve stiffness-to-weight ratios. Bladder molding with EPS forms and PU headtube and bottom bracket inserts stop wrinkling and unconformities in critical zones, allowing less carbon to be used while maintaining strength.
Fox Float X Factory Rear Shock – Designed specifically to meet the demands of aggressive trail riders, the new FLOAT X combines sophisticated damping and fade free performance with incredible light weight and outstanding structural integrity.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / 2-Position Compression Lever / Rebound
Trail Balanced Suspension – A high starting leverage rate gives a plush and active feel combined with terrific traction. A progressive curve controls the bike in full-travel situations - the inevitable big hits that come along with pointing a capable bike down a rocky trail.
Trail Geometry – This bike is capable of handling the widest variety of terrain without making big compromises in any aspect of performance.
