Head off on your own route – even if you forgot to plan! The Specialized Diverge E5 Comp Complete Bike sets a benchmark for a new style of gravel bike, more stable at speed than you've ever felt without losing its lively steering characteristics. The BB is low, tire clearance high, and smoothness is off the charts thanks to a Future Shock suspension stem that lets you hammer on washboard roads without turning your arms into jelly. SRAM's excellent Apex Eagle drivetrain / brake system takes care of acceleration, with powerful hydraulic brakes and a wide gearing range. FKTs and leisurely bikepacking excursions are all in this bike's skillset.
Specialized Diverge E5 Premium Aluminum Frame with Full Carbon Fork – This Premium E5 Aluminum frame provides a stiff, light, and durable platform. When mated to the full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 becomes a light, lively and versatile bike ready to attack any surface.
Future Shock 1.5 – The Future Shock is a revolution in smoothness, delivering 20mm of travel without degrading speed, handling, or comfort.
Progressive Geometry – The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry Specialized has ever created for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike in the dirt that still feels responsive and nimble on the road. They've increased the frame’s reach, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All this creates incredible confidence with a planted feeling in the dirt while spec’ing shorter stems keeps the overall cockpit length the same and the steering lively. The bike’s low BB increases stability but is still high enough to utilize with 650b wheels if that’s your jam.
Rack Mount Options – This frame has plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need. No matter how far you plan to go or how long you plan to stay out, there's room.
Large Tire Clearance – Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so Specialized gave the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel.
SRAM Apex Eagle 1x12 – Eagle range on a drop bar bike? Now that’s a party. The Apex Eagle rear derailleur quietly and quickly shifts across SRAM 12-speed Eagle cassettes, while 1x-specific chain retention technology keeps the chain where it needs to be. It’s the best of road and mountain bike innovations in one package
SRAM Apex – Smooth and powerful hydraulic braking mated to 12-speed wireless, intuitive shifting is an unbeatable combo at any level. An optimized hood shape fits all hand sizes for comfortable and controlled braking from the hoods and the drops. Shifting is as easy as ever: one paddle to go to an easier gear, and one to go harder. Nothing extra, nothing distracting.

Pathfinder Pro Tires – Born in the American Midwest, gravel riding is one of the fastest–growing styles of cycling. The sense of adventure, conquering new challenges, and simply experiencing a new style of riding are some of its big selling points, but doing so without the proper tires makes the difference between having fun and cursing and hollering on the side of the road. The Pathfinder delivers the versatility that these adventure-laden rides deserve—fast rolling, lots of grip, and a whole lot of fun.
