As the popularity of cold-water surfing grows, we’re starting to see an expansion of options for women’s specific wetsuits. This is a welcome change, as the offerings in this realm have been a bit thin in the past. As usual, you’ll want to do a little research into the water temps at your local break or surf trip destination before choosing a wetsuit. We’ve got offerings that will stave off a morning chill in SoCal or Baja, all the way to hooded 5/4s capable of keeping you warm during winter swells on the East Coast.
Most of the offerings on this list are fairly easy on the wallet, meaning you’ll have some extra cash for a breakfast burrito on the way to the break! Additionally, all of the best women’s wetsuits feature a women’s specific fit, and one is even from a brand that only makes women's wetsuits. So grab your neoprene ladies and meet us at the beach, any time of year!
When the Halloween candy's all gone, the Thanksgiving turkey's done and dusted, and holiday carolers are the jam of the week, less motivated surfers call it a season in the northern latitudes. But not you! No, you know your XCEL 5/4 Infiniti Hooded Wetsuit will help you catch those empty waves when they're at their best. Purpose built for just such a mission, this is a full suit for the frostiest among us.

Hey there! I'm Jack Mace, the Surf Buyer at evo.com. Born and raised in Washington, I developed a love for the outdoors and water activities like surfing during my childhood summers spent on the water and in the mountains. My passion for surfing grew while attending Western Washington University in Bellingham, where I'd hit the waves at local spots like La Push and Westport Jetty with friends on weekends.
After moving back to Seattle, I worked as a sailing instructor at my cousin's rental shop on Lake Union before joining the evo family in 2012. Starting in customer service, I eventually found my way to the merchandising team, where I could turn my passion for the outdoors and surfing into a fulfilling career as the Surf Buyer.
I live in Seattle with my wife, our two sons, and our pup Mac.
