If we’re being honest, we didn’t expect a resurgence in the step-on/step-in style binding market. But Burton has always been an innovator, and that legacy continues to this day. Over the years many binding and boot manufacturers have tried to varying degrees of success (and failure!) to figure out this problem. After designing a completely new step on bindings and step on boots system from the ground up, Burton has finally cracked the code. Their Step On system has all the convenience of previous iterations of this technology, with none of the functionality issues of years past.
The 2024 lineup continues to build on the strides made in offering step-on boots and bindings for both men and women, ensuring a tailored fit and enhanced functionality for all riders. The sustained effort in refining gender-specific models showcases a commitment to meeting diverse needs, providing a seamless and intuitive connection between the rider and the board. Whether tackling groomers or exploring off-piste terrains, the importance of a secure and comfortable boot-binding connection is paramount. For those in the market, considering the compatibility while buying snowboard bindings can significantly impact the riding experience. The 2024 collection of step-on boots and bindings epitomizes this blend of comfort, ease of use, and precise fit, making the step-on technology an appealing choice for riders aiming for a hassle-free and enjoyable time on the slopes.
Ever wish you bindings were a little less hassle to deal with? All that adjusting and fiddling - who needs it? The Burton Step On Snowboard Bindings have your back. Pair these bindings with some Step On boots to experience the simplest, most straightforward setup on the mountain. With Step Ons you can (surprise surprise) just step right onto your board and go, and they perform just as well as traditional bindings. They're crazy intuitive, and they give you a perfect connection to your board for easy all-mountain stylin'. No straps, all shred.
Danielle, Product Content Writer: "Ultimately, I’d primarily consider your riding crew and budget before purchasing the Step On Bindings. If your snowboard buddies rock traditional straps, you're just going to be waiting around anyway. But if your riding partners ski or like to explore the mountain without getting into anything too committing, give the Burton Step Ons a try."

A step up from the basic Step On, the Burton Step On Escapade Snowboard Bindings are a bit stiffer, adding performance to their outstanding comfort and ease of use. All-mountain riding doesn't need to include fiddling with your straps, ever. If you add up all the time you've spent at the top of runs, squatting, plopping down onto your rear, de-icing buckles, and wasting energy on your strap bindings, you'd have an extra pow run per year. If you include all the time you wait for your crew to do the same, well, send them this link too. It's time to ditch the straps!

Danielle, Product Content Writer: "The Burton Felix Step On Boots are great boots if you’re an intermediate-advanced rider interested in entering the Step On world. Burton only offers five Step On boots for women at this time, which likely covers most riders, but I, personally, would want a stiffer boot with Speed Zone laces and that does not exist at the time of writing this."
