By: Landon Harmon: Data Specialist | October 11, 2023

Every season for aspiring young boarders should start with a soft, easy Boa snowboard boot. Kids' snowboard boots come in many options, whether they come in the form of liner-less boots for first-timers, or boots with an internal lacing system and J-Bars for added support. We’ve done our homework to find kid’s boots designed with all the best features, but still come in at a parent-happy price point. Youth boots feature moldable liners, reflective liners, and stylish prints. Beyond these features, out-of-the-box comfort is essential to kids’ snowboard boots.

New This Year:

As young riders continue to carve their path on the slopes, 2024 brings a focus on versatility and customization in the realm of kids' snowboard boots. The spotlight this year is on the diverse range of closure systems available, from traditional laces and quick-pull systems to the increasingly popular BOA dials and even straightforward Velcro straps. Brands are ensuring that every young snowboarder finds a fit that's both comfortable and secure. With such variety at their fingertips, understanding the nuances of buying kids' snowboard boots can be invaluable. This array of options empowers kids to choose a boot that aligns with their preferences and skill level, ensuring they have the support they need to confidently progress in their snowboarding journey.

Landon Harmon

Hey there! My name’s Landon Harmon, and I’m a Data Specialist at evo who assists our buyers for snowboards and snow accessories. I’m originally from Bellingham WA and had the privilege of growing up riding at Mt. Baker. I couldn’t get enough and taught snowboarding up there for 7 seasons, after which I moved to Seattle in 2015. I started working at evo that year in Customer Care and avoided the crowds by riding Stevens Pass on weekdays. There I gained more knowledge of the retail side of the industry and had my eyes set on the Merchandising team. I now get to work closely with what we are selling and support two amazing categories in our business. I recently moved to Portland and love getting to explore new mountains and take advantage of the longer season that Mt. Hood offers.
