Let's face it, when one of your feet isn’t strapped in, your snowboard is harder to control. Luckily snowboard stomp pads are here to save you. When searching for a stomp pad, first consider the size and shape of the stomp pad. Some stomp pads are designed to cover a larger board area, while others are smaller and more compact. You'll also want to think about the traction that the stomp pad provides. Look for stomp pads with a textured surface that will help you maintain your footing when you're getting on or off the lift. Additionally, consider the durability of the stomp pad. Look for stomp pads made from durable materials that withstand regular use's wear and tear.
When Crab Grab first introduced foam stop pads, it took the world by storm as many riders preferred its squishy feel and lightweight construction, and that trend has continued throughout the years. That said, you can still find rubber, hard plastic, and metal stomp pad options. So don’t worry about wiping out the next time you get off the chairlift, slap a stomp pad on when setting up your board, and enjoy the grip.

Hi! My name is Jen and while growing up in the very cold Midwest, I didn’t have much experience in the snow apart from sledding and building your classic snowman. Eventually, after college, I migrated my way out to Utah. There I stepped on the snow on skis for the first time at the young age of 27. The first experience being at Alta, doing a complete yard sale under the Collins lift on my first run. Stubborn me didn’t give up. I soon after got a job at Snowbird where I grew to love the sport and learned to love the mountains in the wintertime as much as I do in the summer.
My winter passion didn’t change upon moving to the PNW where I call Seattle my home. I started with evo 6 years ago and have been a buyer for several categories, one of which currently includes the snow accessories category. Come to me if you want to talk about helmets, goggles, gloves, and more.
