While buying all of the gear for skiing and snowboarding can quickly add up, you also need to be able to see where you’re going to have a good time. That’s where choosing goggles comes in. When searching for the best budget ski goggles, finding the right balance between quality and affordability can be challenging. However, by weighing a few key factors, you can find affordable ski goggles that will suit your needs without breaking the bank. The best affordable ski goggles will offer various options across the most important specs, which include lens quality, fit, and style. A high-quality lens that provides good visibility in the light conditions you most often experience is critical. And the goggles should fit comfortably and stay securely on your face, so a size and shape that works well for your face are a must.
Each year skiers and snowboarders looking for lower price point products when shopping for ski goggles benefit as the technology from previous year top end models trickles down. One area in particular where this has occurred is lens quality. It is now much easier to find lens technologies that provide high clarity when out in the snow in wider light ranges in budget-friendly options.

Hi! My name is Jen and while growing up in the very cold Midwest, I didn’t have much experience in the snow apart from sledding and building your classic snowman. Eventually, after college, I migrated my way out to Utah. There I stepped on the snow on skis for the first time at the young age of 27. The first experience being at Alta, doing a complete yard sale under the Collins lift on my first run. Stubborn me didn’t give up. I soon after got a job at Snowbird where I grew to love the sport and learned to love the mountains in the wintertime as much as I do in the summer.
My winter passion didn’t change upon moving to the PNW where I call Seattle my home. I started with evo 6 years ago and have been a buyer for several categories, one of which currently includes the snow accessories category. Come to me if you want to talk about helmets, goggles, gloves, and more.
