The Osprey Tempest 9 is a premium hydration pack that's perfect for day hikes, trail runs, or mountain biking excursions. With enough space for all the essentials, yet low enough in profile to avoid unwarranted snags, the Tempest 9 is a feature filled daypack that has quickly become an active lifestyle necessity. The padded mesh-lined shoulder harness paired with the fixed BioStretch™ hipbelt allows the pack to comfortably cling to your back and effectively eliminate unbalancing pack shifts while a ridged foam back panel provides much needed ventilation.

Features
External Hydration Sleeve – Located between the Tempest back panel and main pack body is an exterior hydration compartment with sewn-in hanger to hold reservoir upright. Route hose left or right through elastic routers on the harness.
Fixed Gender Specific BioStretch™ Hipbelt – The BioStretch™ gender specific built-in hipbelt is a mesh covered, die cut slotted hipbelt featuring zippered stretch mesh pockets and a modified straight ErgoPull™ closure system providing comfortable, stable load transfer and carry.
Front Panel Storage Bungee – Front panel storage bungee webbing with fabric wings provides quick and easy in an out storage for lightweight layers and other items.
LidLock™ Helmet Attachment System – To use the LidLock™ attachment system, A) locate LidLock™ helmet clip near the top of the pack’s front panel and pull away from the pack. B) In the vertical position, pass LidLock™ through helmet vent from the bottom and engage in horizontal position.
Single Ice Tool Attachment – Lower tool loop works in conjunction with fixed bungee too tie-offs to provide stable and secure ice tool carry.
