Eager to tour on your favorite ski but don't want the added weight? The Salomon QST Echo 106 Skis are the answer. This evolution of the acclaimed QST line combines the versatile shape of the QST 106 with a karuba and poplar core, superlight basalt fibers, and cork damplifier material in the tip and tail to create a light but supremely capable backcountry ski. Inspired by Cody Townsend's adventures in the high alpine, the QST Echo thrives in all conditions - suffer-fests and all.
Freeride Rocker Profile – 25% Tip Rocker / Camber / 17% Tail Rocker
Karuba / Poplar Full Woodcore – A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations. Karuba is one of the lightest woods available for ski construction.
Basalt Superlight Fibers
Cork Damplifier – Cork is 16 times more absorptive than Koroyd. Using it in the tip and/or tail of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening while decreasing weight.
Double Sidewalls Technology – A high density injected piece of ABS underfoot combined with full length sidewalls creates a strong platform underfoot to maximize grip on hard snow.
100% Recycled Double Sidewalls
30% Recycled Topsheet Materials
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Already having made a name for themselves as "best in class" in the lightweight tech binding category, ATK refuses to rest on their laurels and the new ATK Raider 13 Evo Alpine Touring Ski Bindings exemplify their commitment to improving the breed. The EVO series employs a new toepiece that's easier to step in to and is adjustable for both locked (touring mode) and unlocked (ski mode) release strength, allowing the user to adjust it perfectly for their weight and skiing style. The new heel employs an "Automatic Braking System®" activated by rotating the heel unit rather than the previous push-in lever. As with other ATK bindings, the ease of step-in and accuracy of release is unparalleled due to the use of their patented Cam Release System® heel pins.
Release Adjustment Toe Piece® – Easy Entry System® toepiece gemometry makes step-in easy and confident with any tech boot available on the market, even with worn soles. Toe retention is also adjustable in addition to heel retention.
Snow Pack Proof System® – No snow pack under the toe arms, even with multiple transitions.
U.H.V.® System (Up-hill Hardness Variator) – Allows you to change the uphill locking retention, compensates for tech insert wear, and provides correct locking strength for users of different weights.
Automatic Brake System® – Activated by rotating the heel piece from uphill to downhill mode.
Cam Release System® – Heel pins rotate outward via a cam mechanism for the smoothest step-in and release in the industry.
Elastic Response System® – An elastic sliding system with 14mm of travel ensures natural ski flex, reduces pressure on the ski-boot-binding system, and improves binding release performance.
Fore/Aft Adjustment Range – 25mm
Release Value Adjustment – 5-13
Magneto Heel Flaps® – Flat, +35mm, +49mm
Requires Boots with Toe and Heel Tech Fittings
Materials – 7075 Aluminum, POM (Polyoxmethylene), Stainless Steel
