For intermediates and up, looking to get into freestyle riding!
"I'm 6ft 165lbs with 10.5 boots and I rode the 156cm on a sunny summer day at Timberline Mt. Hood. Right off the bat you notice how nice the finish is on this board, the semi-translucent topsheet teases the core and doesn't cheapen the feel of the board like some other matte topsheets. The 156cm felt great for the conditions and even felt stable for me at higher speeds. Ideally I would go with the 160cm to get more support for bigger jumps and extra WW for carving. Regardless this was a blast to ride-Blast is a great word to describe the board, it has a ton of snap and rebound from the camber. It's not overly stiff or soft, delivering everything you'd want in a camber twin. One notable fact is that the turning and edge hold is superior to other twins in the category. United has blended it's roots in directional shapes and turning into the freestyle world and the result is perfection."
Phenomenal and versatile resort board for beginners and veterans alike.
"The United Shapes Object is a great all-round board with lots of pop and a stable medium flex. Rode this board in summer Hood conditions; lots of crust but was able to lock into turns and transition from edge to edge on the hill effortlessly. The semitransparent black top sheet is very minimal but looks amazing."
Super versatile board, great for anyone looking for a super fun twin.
"I rode the 156 cm, which is the longest board I’ve ever been on (I typically ride a 150 or 152). That being said, it didn’t feel too big for me at all. It was playful enough that I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the size. The carbon running through the middle of the board gives it incredible pop—seriously, get ready to take flight on this board. But it’s still torsionally flexible, giving it the perfect balance of playfulness when you want it, while still being reliable at higher speeds. It’s not just another true twin park board; it’s a super fun, quiver-killer twin."
Not ideal for those looking for an ultra-soft or ultra-stiff board, as it offers a medium flex.
Matte and semi-translucent topsheets, while visually appealing to some, may not appeal to riders who prefer more vibrant finishes.
