Based on the enthusiastic feedback from our testers, the 2025 Jones Rally Cat stands out as a versatile, all-mountain snowboard that delivers across a variety of terrains and conditions. Trevor Snow highlighted the board's sturdiness despite its size, praising its capability to handle high speeds with ease and its smooth performance in switch stance. His experience confirms that the Rally Cat is robust enough for confident maneuvers yet maintains a medium flex for ease of use.
Chris Lovely echoed the sentiment, noting the board's playful nature and accessibility. He appreciated the less aggressive camber, which offers a laid-back feel without sacrificing stability on steeper slopes, making it ideal for both intermediate riders and those looking to push their limits at higher speeds.
Jeremy Dorczuk's review encapsulates the board’s comprehensive appeal, describing it as an all-encompassing tool for the mountain adventurer. From bowls and trees to groomers and parks, the Rally Cat handles it all. Dorczuk's review suggests that the board is particularly suited to playful riders but doesn’t fall short when the terrain gets tough, providing a high-quality build that offers great value.

An awesome board for the all around rider that wants one board to rule the mountain
"I tested this board in a 156 and I am 5'11" and 180lbs. I was a bit worried that the board would feel a bit short but was happily surprised with how sturdy it was. The rally cat is a stand out board that handled any situation I threw its way. A nice medium flex that was easy to maneuver but had just enough stability to handle the high speeds. The directional twin shape felt great in a switch stance and was smooth in the air."
Approachable. Playful. Sendy.
"Stoked I was able to try this new addition to the Jones lineup! This directional twin is built for the all mountain rider who likes to keep it playful. It's got a less aggressive camber that allows the rider to keep it laid back but still felt stable on steep stuff. Felt very approachable for both the intermediate rider looking to play more on the mountain, yet supportive enough for the hard charger plays at higher speeds. I especially enjoyed on side hits on the front side of the mountain but could tell that this board can still slash some pow wherever found."
Comfy board for all!
"As an individual that spends my time exploring the mountain, going from Bowls, trees, side hits, groomers, and the park, this new Rally Cat from Jones really does it all. This board is a directional twin which can unlock the entire mountain and is, what I feel, the best profile for a versatile board. Jones is certainly opening up their customer base with this new board. If you have been riding for 15 years or 15 days, anyone can get on this and have an amazing time. For the price point, you get a whole lot of board that is of a quality build. I would say this is a better board for more of a playful rider but like I said, it holds its own very well in more aggressive terrain."
Versatility: The Jones Rally Cat's directional twin shape and medium flex allow it to perform well in a wide range of conditions and terrains, making it a great all-around choice for various mountain adventures.
Stability at Speed: Despite its playful nature, testers praised the board's stability at higher speeds and in steep terrain, ensuring confidence no matter the challenge ahead.
Playful and Accessible: Ideal for both intermediate and advanced riders, the board's less aggressive camber makes it approachable and fun without compromising on performance.
Rides Short: Initial concerns about the board feeling short for some riders suggest that more experienced riders may benefit from sizing up.
Camber Preference: Riders accustomed to a more aggressive camber might find the Rally Cat's softer flex and more subtle camber profile too laid back for their liking.
Specific Target Audience: While versatile, the board is particularly noted for favoring a playful riding style, which may not appeal to those who prefer a more aggressive, traditional approach.
The 2025 Jones Rally Cat is an excellent choice for the all-mountain rider who values versatility and playfulness in their snowboard. This board is particularly well-suited for those who enjoy a variety of mountain experiences, from groomers and parks to bowls and tree runs. Its directional twin design and medium flex provide a balance of stability and maneuverability, making it a dependable choice for both intermediate and advanced riders looking to explore and expand their skills on the mountain.
The Rally Cat is ideal for riders who prefer a board that's easy to handle yet capable of keeping up with more adventurous runs. However, it might not be the best fit for those who are seeking a highly aggressive board primarily for racing or very steep, technical terrains. Its playful nature shines in a freestyle setting or when cruising at moderate speeds, which means hardcore freeriders or competitive racers might want to look for something tailored more specifically to those intense demands.
