Our testers had a blast riding the 2025 Bataleon Distortia, highlighting its playful and fun nature that is especially suited for park and freestyle riding. Salina noted how the softer flex made it super easy to butter and spin, without sacrificing edge control thanks to the camber edges and 3BT control. She recommended it highly for newer riders or those seeking a softer board.
Ashley echoed these sentiments, describing the Distortia as a solid daily driver for park lovers and those exploring their style. She praised the 3D base technology for making the board feel buttery while maintaining stability in choppy conditions. She found the 143 cm size perfect for her height and weight.
Becca loved the Distortia’s lightweight and responsiveness, especially for butters and presses. She found it to be super slippery and playful, making it perfect for quick carving and riding switch. She recommended it for experienced riders looking for a soft, playful board to enjoy both in the park and all around the mountain.
"Discover the Distortia, a lightweight women’s twin board built for advancing your park skills and conquering the mountain. With its symmetrical shape, twin flex, and 3D base profile, you can confidently ride switch, throw spins, and butter without edge worries. This is the preferred board of Klaudia Medlova, offering a dynamic experience."

Super playful and fun board that is perfect for park and freestyle!
"This board was much softer than what I normally ride but it was so fun and playful. Felt super easy to butter and spin, but with the camber edges it didn't feel like you lost any edge control. The 3BT control mixed with the camber made it feel playful but not like you are going to start losing and edge. Definitely a great park board or for newer riders that want something softer."
Playful daily driver for exploring your style
"I demoed this board the other day and had a lot of fun on it! This board would be a solid daily driver for any park lover or rider exploring their style. The 3D base technology really makes the board feel buttery, while at the same time I was surprised at how stable it felt with the choppy conditions. I rode a 143 at 5 foot 3 inches and it felt perfect!"
Not as soft as the disaster or feelbetter, better for someone with a little experience.
"The Distortia for 24/25 not only looks awesome but it rides like a dream if you want something super slippery and playful. Flexes so well, and with the 143 it was so easy for me to find the right balance in the tip and tail for butters and presses. This thing is lightweight and rips around like nobody's business. 3D base contour and a short sidecut radius make quick carving a breeze. Symmetrical twin shape so riding switch is no problem and rotations come easy. Great for the park but also for cruising around, hitting sidehits and rollers. Recommend for someone who has been riding a while but wants a buttery soft board to play around on."
Playfulness: The board is highly playful, making it perfect for butters, spins, and park riding.
Edge Control: Despite its softer flex, the 3BT control and camber edges maintain excellent edge control.
Versatility: Ideal for both park and all-mountain riding, providing a fun and stable ride in various conditions.
Soft Flex: May not suit riders who prefer a stiffer board for aggressive riding or high-speed stability.
Specific Use: While versatile, its strengths lie in freestyle and playful riding, which may not appeal to all riders.
The 2025 Bataleon Distortia is best suited for advanced riders who enjoy park and freestyle snowboarding. It's an excellent choice for those who love playful, buttery boards that make it easy to spin, butter, and carve with precision. With its soft flex and 3D base technology, it offers a perfect balance of fun and stability, making it ideal for exploring your style in various conditions. While it's great for newer riders seeking a softer board, absolute beginners or those looking for a stiffer, more aggressive ride might find it less suitable.
