Our team of testers had the chance to test the 2025 Black Crows Mirus Cor, and the feedback was resoundingly positive. Sophia Browning highlighted that these skis excel at tight turns and quick maneuvering, although they might not hold an edge as well as some other models like the Atris. According to her, these skis are incredibly fun for those who enjoy constant, sharp turns.
Peter Lifvendahl, new to Black Crows, was thoroughly impressed, finding the Mirus Cor perfect for a variety of activities, from carving groomers to tackling moguls and freeride jumps. He noted the skis' playful yet stiff nature and how easy they were to butter.
Kyle Bream shared his enthusiasm for the Mirus Cor's ripping performance and nimbleness, likening the experience to driving a sporty Mazda Miata convertible on the slopes. He praised the skis' supportive flex, stability at speed, and their ability to handle every side hit on the hill, making them a standout choice for those who love carving and quick turns.
Ryan Breckenridge found the Mirus Cor to be an excellent everyday ski for non-powder days. He appreciated their short turning radius, stability, and the fun aesthetic. For Ryan, these skis were a joy to carve up groomers and were suitable for a wide range of abilities.
Overall, our testers rated the 2025 Black Crows Mirus Cor an average of 4.6 out of 5, highlighting its strengths in agility, playfulness, and carving performance.
"Built with a long rocker tip and a swallow tail, it should be skied short to play on piste and with the most playful sidehits. It speaks carving in a blackcrows way, also designed as a true freestyle all terrain. Accessible, solid and creative in every respect"

Intermediate to advanced riders
"I have never been on a Black Crow nor had a thought of being on one, but after testing the mirus cor, I am a huge fan. It was the perfect ski for what I wanted to do and handled everything that I threw at it. From carving groomers and moguls, to more freeride cliff drops and jumps, this ski was amazing! Not to mention how incredibly playful yet stiff when you wanted it to be. The one thing i could not get over was how easy it was to butter on these skis!"
Absolute Blast! Just TRY not to have fun, I dare you!
"I've been eyeing the Mirus Cor, along with similar carvers like the Line Blade, for a couple years now and I finally got the chance. I've asked several owners over the past season or two what they think, and every time I get a big smile in response. The shape and color certainly make this one stand out in the lift line, but its ripping performance makes the skier a standout on the slopes. I tend to prefer a turning radius in the 16-19 meter range but had never dipped below that until the Mirus Cor. The ski is everything I was hoping for, and handles speed better than I expected. The carving performance is its true strength while maintaining a supportive and powerful flex that let me snipe every single side hit on the hill. These things will do figure-8s up and down the hill if your legs can handle it. The narrow waist is super snappy. I was on the 184cm and they felt shorter with just how nimble they are. I would be curious what the 178s would feel like just for kicks. The profile has more of what I consider an early rise tip/tail versus "rocker", which maintains a bit more hard snow contact and adds to its stability at speed. They aren't the fastest ski on the mountain but are absolutely no slouch. I encourage everyone to try them out. These are my definition of a "quiver ski", something you don't want to live without but also not the quintessential "daily driver". I'd love to put them head to head with the Blade, being that they seem so similar. I think of these as the Mazda Miata convertible of the hill; they'll get you attention whether you want it or not, but MAN are they a good time!"
Fun if you are constantly turning
"This is a fun ski if you are turning constantly, especially tight turns. Doesn't hold an edge as well as the Atris but will turn on a dime."
Very fun ski for any ability. Easy for beginners but is really fun for the advanced skier.
"I would ski this ski everyday that is not a powder day! The Mirus Cor is soo fun to carve up the groomers. The ski has a short turning radius so it LOVES to lay down turns. Stiff enough to provide stability but soft enough to make turning easy. The ski looks good and has a fun aesthetic with the tails. Great skis for anybody!"
Excellent Carving Performance: These skis excel in tight, quick turns and carving groomers, making them a blast for those who love to maneuver sharply.
Playful Yet Stiff: The Mirus Cor strikes a balance between playfulness and stiffness, allowing for easy buttering and stable rides in various conditions.
Agile and comfortable in-air: Quick edge to edge, a balanced feel and low-swing weight makes these skis a blast whether you're on snow or in the air.
Limited Edge Hold: Compared to other models like the Atris, the Mirus Cor doesn't hold an edge as well, which may be a consideration for those needing maximum edge grip.
Not Ideal for Off-Piste: These skis can get pushed around a bit off-piste, making them less suitable for deep powder or rougher terrains.
Narrow Turning Radius: While great for those who enjoy constant turning, the narrow turning radius might not appeal to skiers who prefer longer, sweeping turns.
The 2025 Black Crows Mirus Cor is best suited for skiers who enjoy quick, sharp turns and playful, agile performance.
These skis are ideal for advanced to expert skiers who love carving up groomers and navigating tight, quick turns with ease. With their short turning radius and balance between stiffness and playfulness, the Mirus Cor offers a fun and responsive ride on well-maintained slopes and moderate terrains. However, they might not be the best choice for those looking to venture off-piste or needing maximum edge hold in varied conditions.
