"The Atomic Bent 90 is the ski Nico and Miguel Porteous refer to as "the Swiss Army knife" - the perfect all-mountain/park ski. While the Bent 90 is a narrower ski than the bigger Bent Chetler 120, it still maintains the same attitude of creativity, self-expression, and versatility that make the entire range so effective."

Testing for the 2024 Atomic Bent 90:
We had four different testers with decades of skiing experience spend extensive time testing out the 2024 Atomic Bent 90 skis. As both intermediate and advanced skiers with a diverse background of skiing experience across a variety of mountains, conditions and terrain, they independently compiled their thoughts and each provided us their individual reviews below.
All-mountain for all levels
"Main update from last years model is just graphics, but the ski still performs as great as ever. In my opinion, the Bent lineup has a perfect blend of playfulness and power. Strong enough to handle anything the mountain can throw at it and still hold its own in the park. The ease to which this ski can be controlled makes it a great option for all skill levels, and the different ww options allow you to tweak its performance to the terrain that suits you best. The 90mm being smaller underfoot (for the PNW) is still a great all mtn option where something like the 100mm or 110mm could easily be a quiver killer."
Side-hit hunters
"I'm 5ft 11in and about 195lbs. I found myself riding the Bent 90 skis on a blue bird groomer week, with the snow about as packed as it gets before it turns to ice. They absolutely ripped. Outside of the steepest runs, they were surprisingly stable at speed, held an edge, and had me itching for a longer run to keep carving. The cherry on top is that these skis hold true to the Bent Chetler line. They're poppy, playful, and balanced. When you're not carving hard, you'll want to zero in on your favorite side hits to launch off. These may very well become a part of my permanent quiver."
Ski like Benchetler himself
"This little guy was like a trampoline! I'm used to pretty fat skis, so these felt narrow to me when I first stepped in. A few turns in though and I was giggling with how easy it was to maneuver and pop these around. They're stable at speed, carve well, and handle bits of ice surprisingly well. I would likely pick a wider version if I was somewhere with oodles of deep snow, or liked to be off piste/backcountry, but for a playful resort ski the 90 was a blast. These are easy to ski and super fun. These would excel as a park or all mountain ski for an intermediate to advanced rider. I am 5ft 4in and 140lbs, and tested the 176cm length. I would size down if I was looking to be in the air more, or stay with the true size if I was looking to ski these all over the mountain."
Super fun ski!
"The days I skied these it was firm conditions at Mission Ridge and I had been skiing various stiffer more serious skis prior. I hopped on the Bent 90 and it turned the mountain into a playground. They are so quick and maneuverable with a playful flex profile. They had me searching out side hits and bumps to pop off of and provided a great time. I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a fun playful maneuverable ski. Would be a good time for beginners and more experienced skiers alike."
Playful and easily maneuverable: A fun, confidence-inspiring ski for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
Versatility: Whether you're riding groomers or venturing off-piste, these skis 90mm waist width provided the right balance of stability to feel comfortable in most terrain, in most snow conditions.
Natural transition to/from wider Bent Family skis: All the skis in the Bent Family behave similarly, making it seamless and natural to swap between the narrower Bent 90 and more pow-oriented Bent 120.
Slight chatter at high speeds: Some reviewers found the ARV 94 to be stiffer than they anticipated, which may affect the ski's ability to provide a more playful and forgiving ride.
Not ideal for deep snow: The 90mm width may not be the optimal choice for deep powder or extensive off-piste adventures. If you spend most of your time off-piste/in fresh snow, consider the wider Bent Series skis.
Not a true twin park ski: While the ski performs well in the park, it may not be the top choice for dedicated park enthusiasts seeking specialized park features.
The 2024 Atomic Bent 90 Skis are an excellent choice for riders of all skill levels looking for a fun, versatile and easy to manevuer choice for all-mountain and/or park skiing.
For all the newcomers out there, the Bent 90 Skis bring ease of control and maneuverability to the table, ensuring a fun and playful experience whether you're still getting comfortable on the groomers or venturing off-piste. These skis will build your confidence in a wide array of snow conditions, making those first steps more fun and less frustrating. The Bent 90 is not just for beginners though! Intermediate and advanced skiers, listen up! These skis are versatile and designed to handle a range of mountain conditions with ease. Experience the sheer joy of playfulness and pop as you explore side hits, bumps, and even hit park features. Oh, and here's the best part - if and when you decide you want to get a more dedicated pow ski, the wider width 100, 110, and 120mm versions offer a familiar and seamless transition into that more specialized ski world. Bottom line: If you're seeking an all-mountain ski that's an ideal blend of playfulness and power, the 2024 Atomic Bent 90 Skis are sure to leave you smiling. Whether you're taking your first turns or you're a seasoned vet seeking more creative excitement on the resort, these skis won't disappoint!
