Dash Dryden highlighted the ski's lightweight caruba core, which enhances maneuverability for spins and butters, while the rocker profile ensures a fun and adaptable ride. The ski's durability was also noted, thanks to the w3Dgewall sidewall, making it a great choice for heavy rail riding.
Zackery Stetson, an aggressive expert rider with a freestyle background, appreciated the added stability on hard pack due to the updated core. He found the ski to be a fantastic option for both park enthusiasts and all-mountain riders, making it a hit for a broad range of skiers.

"The ARV 100 is the all-mountain freestyle king with a 100mm waist and AR Freestyle Rocker providing exceptional all-around versatility. Whether sending it in the park or charging around the mountain in search of a few inches of fresh snow, the wider waist and rocker in the tips and tails deliver a solid platform for rutted out landings and variable conditions."

Super playful and versatile!
"The ARV 100 is a solid all mtn/park ski for a variety of skiers. The caruba core keeps the ski really light which helps with spins and butters while the rocker profile keeps the ski super playful and versatile. It could be a dedicated park ski or an all around all mtn ski. The new w3Dgewall sidewall also helps with durability for rails so you dont blow out your sidewall and edge after heavy rail riding. Overall I really enjoyed it would highly recommend it."
Fun for the whole family!
"I am a fairly aggressive expert rider with a background in freestyle. This year armada decided to change the core in the arv 100 skis. The change in core added a little weight but made the ski a lot more stable on the hard pack. For a park ski this makes a lot of sense and I can see this being a hot park ski for the park rippers but also a fun all mountain ripper for the rad dads and moms too!"
Great for everything
"Great one ski quiver. This is a great ski for everything from the park to skiing a couple inches of fresh snow."
Fantastic playful all mountain/freeride ski
"This is a very fun freeride ski. It holds an edge well, skies switch well, and is a fantastic mogul ski because of its flexibility and pop."
Intermediate and up
"This ski wants to do everything! I'm 5'10" and skied the 180 and had a blast on every part of the mountain. The ski shreds hard! It wants to smear, carve, jump and make sure you have a fun time."
Versatility: The ARV 100 excels in a variety of conditions, making it a solid all-mountain and park ski.
Lightweight and Playful: The caruba core keeps the ski light, enhancing maneuverability for spins, butters, and playful riding.
Durability: The w3Dgewall sidewall increases durability, especially useful for skiers who enjoy heavy rail riding.
Added Weight: The new core adds some weight, which might be noticeable for those used to lighter park skis.
Not for Pure Carvers: While versatile, it might not satisfy skiers who prefer dedicated carving skis.
Stiffness for Beginners: The stiffness that provides great edge hold might be less forgiving for novice skiers.
The 2025 Armada ARV 100 is ideal for skiers looking for a versatile and playful all-mountain and park ski. It's best suited for advanced to expert skiers who enjoy a mix of all-mountain, freeride, and freestyle skiing. The ski's lightweight caruba core and rocker profile make it easy to maneuver for spins, butters, and side hits, while its durability handles heavy rail riding. Although it's versatile, those who prefer dedicated carving skis or are beginner skiers might find it less ideal due to its added weight and stiffness. Overall, the ARV 100 is a fantastic option for skiers who want a fun, adaptable, and durable ski for a variety of conditions.
