The new Salomon MTN Lab Alpine Touring Ski Boots combine a weight of 1550 grams in a 26.5 with a super clean, 2 buckle design and a smooth progressive flex that compares favorably with any alpine boot. Add Salomon's Motion Flex technology for a climbing mode with a super 47˚ range of motion and a clean, out of the way locking lever that fits under your pants, and you've got a boot that's right for heavy hitters and long haulers alike - just ask Greg Hill.

Motion Flex – The touring cuff's spine is made of carbon and composite fiber allowing for a 47˚ range of motion when skinning while guaranteeing a true and progressive alpine flex.
Surelock Ski / Walk Mechanism – Low profile lever is located at the same level as the upper buckle and can be undone in the same movement. Maximum cuff release for touring and secure lock for skiing down. Horizontal positioning for mechanical reliability. Independent from the cuff buckle for more convenience when touring.
