Black Diamond Ascension Split STS Climbing Skins: The Black Diamond Ascension Split STS Climbing Skins are lightweight and designed specifically for big powder-specialty skis that are 115 mm or wider underfoot. The middle of the skin is replaced with rip-stop nylon fabric to save weight. Note: Black Diamond recommends centering the Ascension Split STS Climbing Skins and cutting both sides WITHOUT moving the skin from side to side as recommended with their solid skins to avoid over-trimming.

Patented STS adjustable tails (with split-skin specific design) provide 10 cm of length adjustment.

Other Features
Unique "split" skin has nylon ripstop fabric in the center for lighter weight, drag reduction, easy packability and easy on/off.
Skins should be centered and both sides trimmed WITHOUT moving the skin side-to-side as with conventional skins. Moving the skin to offset the edge could result in over-trimming.
