Although they are crafted for beginner to intermediate riders, the Flow Minx Hybrid Snowboard Bindings can be ridden at any ability level, even those who desire a soft and forgiving binding for the terrain park. The many easy-riding characteristics make for a frustration-free experience when learning to link carves or to butter across a box. The strap tightness is easy to adjust with LSR buckles, but you can also set it and forget it with Flow's rear-entry system. Flex
Loose & Easy – These bindings are relatively soft, designed for all-mountain cruising and laps through the park and pipe. They will be forgiving, comfortable with a nice response at medium to high speeds.
Baseplate
Molded Composite Rockered – Engineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. A minimal contact area against the board works to channel your power to the edges. The rockered corners of the baseplate allow your snowboard to maintain optimal and even flex.
Full-EVA Toe & Heel Inserts
Highback
Molded Composite Uni-Back – Lightweight 1-piece highbacks that fully recline for easy SpeedEntry & Exit. Comfortable EVA pads reduce the pressure on your legs.
Straps
Hybrid Power-Cap-Strap – Dual-entry configuration. The toe cap fits snug onto the toe of your boot and delivers a perfect fit every time.
Buckles
Locking Slap Ratchet – LSR buckles give you the option to easily get in and out of your bindings any which way you like. Whether SpeedEntry or DualEntry, they lock down to secure your preferred foot strap tightness.

Beginner-Intermediate Whether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.

Soft The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
