When you're riding the park on the Burton Nug Snowboard, it feels like natural instinct. Burton's Raduction profile lets you downsize 8-10cm from your normal board length, for an ultra fun and playful ride that remains stable and durable. Similar to Raduction, the Flying V™ rocker profile combines the playfulness of rocker and the control of camber, making the Nug a true jib machine. Whats-more, a strong Sintered base and Frostbite Edges put the fast in fast shred, and ensure the Nug has a nice long lifespan. What are you waiting for? The Burton Nug Snowboard offers park riders way more!
Flying V™ – Rocker between your binding sections meets mellow camber right outside the bindings. Rocker appears again on the tip and tail. The rocker enhances playfulness and float whereas the stable camber zones enhance edge control, power and pop.
Medium-Soft – A forgiving, user-friendly flex. Riders who use the entire mountain as their playground will benefit from this playful, versatile and damp flex.
Twin Flex – Having a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.
Twin Shape – Perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.
Scoop Pro-Tip™ – Burton's tip and tail altering features come together to give riders a catch-free ride in the park, on the groomers or in the backcountry. This design exaggerates the tip and tail by turning up the edges creating a playful and forgiving ride.
Side Effects – This patented design lengthens the surface area at the tip and tail contact points. Riders will appreciate the livelier feel, enhanced grip on groomers and effortless float in deep snow.
FSC™ Certified Super Fly® 800G Core – Light and poppy! This muli-species wood core is constructed with dual-density vertical laminations of alternating wood weights. This produces an extremely lightweight snowboard with long-lasting performance. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Dualzone™ EDG™ – The wood grain is positioned perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges. Engineered Grain Direction provides you with consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Triax™ Fiberglass – This laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.
Sintered – Durable and highly porous. Sintered bases add durability to the deck and have superior wax absorption making for fast ride.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Frostbite Edges – The edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Regardless of the conditions they make your ride easy, playful and always precise.
Behind the Graphic – The Burton Nug's graphic was by, Pierre Llamas, who was also a finisher in a 2015 Burton graphic contest. Pierre's eerie apparition gorging on lethal bootlegged booze compliment the Nug's zany personality. [www.pierre-llamas.com]
Raduction | 8-10 cm – Burton’s patented Raduction design optimizes every element—from waist width and flex profile to sidecut and running length—letting you downsize from your normal board length. Light and lively, easy to throw around, surprisingly floaty, poppy, and stable at speed—Raduction will change the way you look at board length for good.
Infinite Ride™ – Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
The Channel™ – Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major binding companies (not just Burton’s).
