Step aboard the K2 LUV Boat 108 Skis for the ride of your life. Expect immediate elation and happiness when dropping into your first big line on these skis. Rock solid in high speed GS turns but still nimble in tight spots requiring jump turns, the LUV Boat 108 does it all, thanks to contemporary ski construction techniques like a tapered tip, a channeled core and just the right blend of rocker and camber. Big mountain and all-mountain freeride minded skiers - look no further than the K2 LUV Boat 108 Skis.
All-Terrain Rocker – Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Tapered Tip – A design feature that shifts the contact points with the snow toward the midsole of the ski, reducing deflection in the tip and easing turn release in the tail.
Thinner Profile – Without compromising performance, the overall height and thickness was reduced creating a sleek profile for a smooth, natural flex.
Forebody – Tapered, powder-focused tip for predictability in soft and variable conditions.
Midbody – Medium to wide waist widths ranging from 98 to 108 mm for float and moderate sidecut for medium to long turns.
Tail – Tapered, blunted tails for predictability when exiting turns.
Channel Light | Aspen, Paulownia, Bamboo – Women's specific core designed to remove unneeded materials by grooving channels through the length of the ski for added ease and control while the Bioflex core along the perimeter of the ski maintains power, strength, and stability.
Bioflex – K2 Bioflex is a lightweight, women's specific blended wood core, combining Aspen or Fir on the perimeter, Paulownia in the center reinforced with a Bamboo stringer for overall reduced swing weight.
Triaxial Braid – A K2-patented machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core for pronounced torsional strength, while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood ski.
Hybritech Sidewalls – Unique blend of sidewalls underfoot for accuracy, power and performance with a cap construction in the extremities for lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
