Ready to get down and shreddy in the backcountry? The Jones Hovercraft 2.0 Splitboard is made for chutes, trees, and big kid bowls beyond the boundary of the resort. Featuring recycled materials and an all new shape: this beast has a floaty nose, directional rocker, and speed boosting 3D hull in the tail. Built with Boltless Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 for effortless board to binding connection, the Jones Hovercraft 2.0 Splitboard is perfect for big days on the skin track when you just want to rip the snow down.
Directional Rocker – A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.
Flex Rating – 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Forever Flex – All Jones boards are broken in using specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use to help stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for it's lifetime.
Directional Flex Pattern
Blunt Nose – "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep is dictated by it's front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer nose without the 'snow plow' rounded tip and it's extra swing weight." - Jeremy Jones
3D Contour Base 3.0 – Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring a 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0 - 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.
Progressive Sidecut – At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
FSC™ Control Split Core – Dual-density full premium wood core designed specifically for splitboards. 2:1 paulownia to poplar stringer ratio keeps core light yet ultra damp.
Biax Fiberglass – A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.
Recycled Rounded ABS – ABS plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improves the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.
Sintered 8000 Base – New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight polyethylene and carbon.
3D Contour Base 3.0 – Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point
Sustainable Flax Top
Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 with Tips Lock – Ultra clips are the strongest, lowest profile splitboard clips in the world. They deliver unmatched compression between board halves and they are adjustable so you can maintain even compression as your splitboard ages.
Wend Natural Wax – Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.
Bio Resin – All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than conventional epoxy.
Factory Tuned – All Jones snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
Bolt-Less Bridge – The Bolt-Less Bridge eliminates split clip attachment hardware from the base of the board by re-profiling the wood core at the clips. The wood core under the clips is thicker providing better torsional stiffness and a more powerful connection at the split clips.

The Spark R&D Arc ST Splitboard Bindings have improved dramatically over time, with their ST (Smooth Touring) overmolded design making the bindings super quiet and virtually friction free. Now the Spark R&D Arc ST Pro Splitboard Bindings up the ante with Pebax® (a plastic commonly used in AT ski boots) straps, ladders and adjusters, lighter but equally strong 7075 Aluminum heel loops, and re-designed hardware with Hex head and better anchoring at the heel loop.
Hollow Pivot Pins – Made with stainless steel and hollowed out to be 33% lighter than standard pins
Improved ST (Smooth Touring) Mode – Spark injection molds a proprietary thermoplastic over existing aluminum or steel parts in a process called "overmolding," reducing friction and improving durabillity.
ST Whammy Bars – Overmolded plastic blend where the climbing wire meets the baseplate to eliminate stickiness. (Note: not backward compatible with previous Arc, Surge or other older models)
ST Touring Brackets – Overmolded with low-friction proprietary plastic over and through the bracket holes in the aluminum base - strong, smoother pivoting, and lasts 4 times longer than the old brass bushing.
CNC Machined Baseplates – CNC machined baseplates remain solid for max stiffness and durability. All of the baseplate side windows have been partially filled to increase durability and strength
7075 Aluminum Heel Loops – 7075 Aluminum heel loops are thinner and lighter than our standard heel loops while maintaining the required strength.
Pebax® Pillow Line Straps, Ladders and Adjusters – Pebax® is a plastic commonly used in high-end alpine touring ski boots, It is stiff, tough and 20% lighter than the standard material used.
Proven Burton Buckles
Carbon Reinforced Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks – Asymmetrical design features individual left and right highbacks that slope inward matching the rider’s stance / The upper section is flatter for improved lateral mobility / More material at the base for increased longevity and durability / Higher bottom edge won’t snag on boots with crampon welts or soles that wrap high on the heel
Flippin’ FLAD toggles between your forward lean angle and -13° touring position for easy transitions.
Lateral slots for our BD Touring Strap for greater edge control while skinning.
Tool free micro-adjustable from 0° to 22° for complete customization of your forward lean angle
Made with proprietary custom blended materials for improved strength and durability, while minimizing weight.
Requires Pucks for Mounting in Ride Mode – Spark Canted Pucks recommended (available separately)
7075 Aluminum Hardware – A 65% weight savings is found by replacing 7 stainless steel components with 7075 aluminum hardware, custom made in-house

The Jones Nomad Pro Quick Tension Tail Clip Splitboard Skins are ideal for riders on the up and up. Up and up the skin track, that is. They come with a Glide Tech coating to keep things speedy season after season, and an Ever Dry coating that helps eliminate the dreaded skin glop. The Quick Tension Tail Clip system makes your transitions easy as pie, and they come in pre-cut sizes ready to roll for your Jones split.
70% Mohair / 30% Nylon – Jones Nomad and Nomad Pro climbing skins are both made with a blend of 70% natural mohair fiber and 30% synthetic nylon. The mohair offers unmatched glide and a supple skin feel while the nylon improves grip and water repellency.
PFC-Free Material
Quick Tension Tail Clip – The Quick Tension Tail Clip is a lightweight tail clip system designed to fit all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Youth). Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. The Quick Tension Clip features a durable rubber tail strap and compact metal clip.
Universal Tip Clip
Glide Tech – Glide Tech coating reduces friction on each skin fiber so neither super-cold fresh snow or wet, hot snow will stick to the skin and rob energy-saving glide.
Ever Dry – Jones skins are treated with Ever Dry anti-glopping treatment. The coating keeps the skins from absorbing moisture and prevents snow/ice build-up under the skin.
Grip Tech – Grip Tech skins are made with a special material that works well under dynamic tension and has a high resistance to twisting and abrasion.
Rubber Safer Skins – Jones Nomad Pro skins are laminated with a rubber backing that prevents skins from getting water logged. Drier skins are safer as they are less likely to lose adhesion to your skis in critical situations.
Includes – One pair of skins with Quick Tension tail clips attached, two backing sheets, skin bag, and cheat sheet.
9 Pre-Cut Sizes – Fits all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Youth)
