Even a blind snowboarder will see the light when they check out a pow day in the trees on the Rome Service Dog Snowboard; it's that floaty and agile. This is a compact directional shape meant to be ridden shorter than your regular board, and probably not a one board quiver unless your job is guiding for a cat company.
Free-the-Ride Camber – Designed for all-mountain prowess and float in the deep. Rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot, with a positive cambered tail.
Flex Rating – 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Directional Twin – Designed with slightly longer noses than tails, but with both symmetrical sidecuts and symmetrical camber profiles. Directional Twin boards are well-suited for riding switch and all mountain marauding.
Diamond 3D – Designed to increase float in deep snow, improve handling invariable terrain, smooth turn initiation, reduce edge-catch and complement all-mountain riding in all senses.
Taper (20mm) – Built into directional boards built with wider noses than tails helping with agile turns and added float in deep snow.
Stompcore – 100% Poplar Construction is Rome's most stable and predictable core.
Bamboo HotRods – Thin rods of bamboo are milled into the board’s core starting just inside the insert packs and extending into the nose and / or tail. Bamboo HotRods are very pressable and playful.
Directional Single – A single HotRod in the board’s nose for stability at speed and overall liveliness.
Biax Glass – Fiberglass with two different axes, built to be torsionally more playful and pressable.
Triax Glass – Fiberglass running in three different axes, built for torsional rigidity and added snap.
PowerSlide Base – An upgraded, faster and more durable extruded base.
