Articulating Flex Zone – The upper boot cuff is asymmetrically connected to the lower boot allowing the ankle to flex naturally while providing support without shell distortion.A thermal insulation barrier between the outsole and the bottom of the liner keeps the warmth inside and the cold outside.

3D Molded Tongue – The asymmetrical tongue is 3D molded and curved towards the medial side, following the naturally raised ridgeline of your forefoot to alleviate pressure points and give a more balanced feel of comfort and support. An anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue performs better than a standard straight one.
1:1 Lasting – This new new last is the keystone of the boot - the best fit in snowboarding today. Nidecker landed on an 8° forward lean - the sweet spot between comfort and performance. 1:1 Lasting means a specific liner, shell and footbed for each full and half size. Targeted thermo-form foam, Nidecker's innovative and comfortable reverse-cut top cuff, multi-layer J-bars and tethered liner lacing with a no-drift Velcro custom closure offer comfort and performance that make for happy feet whenever they’re strapped in.

Asym 3F – Part of the ASYM3F Technology : FIT - FEEL - FLEX are combined in an asymmetric shape and closure system that delivers optimum support and flex. Lined up along the asymmetrical molded tongue, the Boa® Fit System lace guides are also asymmetrically positioned on the flatter areas of your forefoot for less point-loaded pressure and a more even closure, which increases medial arch support to reduce foot fatigue and cramping. Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
