The Blizzard Firebird GS FIS Race Dept Skis are for those days when you're feeling it, and just want to rail some fine turns at a very high rate of speed. There's no mistaking the fact that these things are built for a very fit athlete who knows how to turn - if you manage to fake it with a lesser freeride ski but don't have enough strength or velocity the Firebird GS FIS will school you. Once you figure them out and find a place with enough room to unleash them (and a sparse enough crowd) they're a total gas.
