Big airs, kinked rails, it's all in a days work for a park junkie! The Armada Halo Skis are the ultimate park ski as it utilizes the five dimensional park rocker giving it a slight tip and tail rocker that ensures no hang ups. If you're looking for a ski that is super quick edge-to-edge and and playful then the Halo is a good choice for you. The Armada Halo is perfect for beginners or experts who like a softer flexing, more forgiving park ski.
EST Park Rocker – The next level. Subtle rocker in the tips and tails with positive camber underfoot. This enhances carving while also disengaging the tip and tail to create a catch-free feel that’s ideal for buttering and nose and tail presses.
Flex Pattern - Tip: 5, Waist: 7, Tail: 6 (1=soft; 10=stiff)
Tapered Tip and Tail – 5 dimension ski with the tip and tail narrower than the contact points
Dimensions (tip/contact point/waist/contact point/tail) – 94/111/81/100/85 mm (170), 95/112/82/101/86 mm (176), 96/113/83/102/87 (182)
Hybrid Double Zone Core – Two high density wood stringers rest alongside ultralight wood in the ski's core, and add to stability and strength without compromising weight.
Laminate Matrix – Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity and allows each ski's flex to be precisely tuned. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex; Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski; Tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski.
CK Stringer – Carbon Kevlar combo stringers lie on top of the laminate matrix along the tail to brace the ski. This increases the landing platform, especially when weight is distributed farther back in the ski than intended. It also gives the ski more pop and extends ski life.
AR50 Sidewall Construction – ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.
S7 Base – Armada's toughest base is durable and low maintenance, with a speed additive for quickness.
2.5 Impact Edge – This edge has an oversized height and width, and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness, which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges and any other abuse it might meet.
Bindings not included
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
