The Ronix One Modello Wakeboard features the same quick, poppy rocker line as the rest of the boards in Ronix's One series, but with a monocoque mod pour modello construction for a board that feels great under any rider's feet. With the One series, Ronix set out to create a board that boosted higher off the wake, but not simply because of a exaggerated 3-stage rocker profile. The One Modello is built to hit the wake faster and ride higher in the water than other 3-stage boards, so you get the benefits of the added pop without the sluggish feel.
Late Rocker – An exaggerated rocker line with a later arc and a higher degree provide a more straight up explosive pop. This style of rocker creates more of an instant explosive buck off of the wake.
Simple bottom shape – Because the board lands with a more natural momentum, Ronix can use a cleaner design.
Thin profile reduces swing weight.
The rail blends to a sharper bevel and a vertical sidewall in the tip and tail, creating additional contact with the water, a more predictable turn and riding higher on the water.
New surf/round rail with a soft bevel through the center allows the board to ride higher on the water and prevents that all too familiar edge catching digger.
Mod Pour Core – The highest strength to weight ratio Ronix has ever tested, setting the standard of the most refined recipe of foam out there
Monocoque Construction – A wrapped glass from the top to the bottom means the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board and is now the strongest.
Krypto Cable – This laminate consists of different fibers woven together that surround the profile of the board and are fused together with the Mod Pour Core. Combined with monocoque laminated glass, the sidewalls are the strongest part of the board.
Glide Speed – Parks Bonifay and Danny Harf have been experimenting with bases with more surface contact and less drag; they produced Glide Speed for an easier release off the wake and added speed and it has been putting smiles on riders faces ever since.
Utility Fins – These go-anywhere, do-anything fins are just as happy carving on glassy mornings as they are getting bashed on rails during afternoon cable park sessions.
