Park Bonifay's been maintaining his pro model, fine-tuning it like a golf swing, for decades now. The latest Ronix Parks Modello Wakeboard puts a premium on predictability, smoothness, and overall speed, keeping it still at the leading edge of modern board tech. In keeping with the golf analogy, the base is dimpled like a golf ball: this reduces breakaway forces, letting riders get airborne with minimal effort. Ronix has eliminated surprises from this board, going so far as to say you can ride it blindfolded! Parks definitely can, can you?
Continuous Rocker – An earlier arc with a mellower degree will have a smoother, more consistent glide up the wake. A rider will be able to carry more speed up the transition and land tricks farther out into the flats.
6 (1 Stored Energy - 10 Instant Energy) – More stored energy means the rider is given more time to generate the full lift from the power building from the tip all the way to the tail of the board. Instant energy generates quick lift and snap off the wake with an extra kick.
Oversized Sweet Spot with Increased Volume Tip and Tail
New Rounded Profile
Concave Bottom
G&R Technology – Grip and release channels have all the traction you need without creating unneeded resistance with the water.
Variable Rail
Reduced Sidecut
Modello Core – The most durable core in the Ronix line, it's light, tough, and affordable.
Mod Pour Foam
Mococoque & Krypto Cable Construction
Magic Carpet Top / Bottom Glass
Tee Box Technology – Parks plays a lot of golf. He is actually pretty good. One day he called from the Tee Box and said he wanted to try golf ball dimples on the bottom of his new board. The result is a board that rides looser, higher, and actually has less resistance with the water. Great ideas come from all places
Four 1" Ramp Fins
Four 0.8" Free Agent Fins
M6 Inserts – A higher thread count means more hold on a shallower depth, allowing thinner board profiles with shorter inserts. This results in more board feel without sacrificing boot lock down.
