The Cardiff Goat Pro Carbon Splitboard is a fearless backcountry explorer capable of tackling any and all terrain. It's constructed with Cardiff's premium ultralight Pro Carbon Build and fine-tuned HALFcamber60 profile for a blend of edge control and maneuverability, marrying big mountain power and stability with billy goat agility in tight terrain. That means it'll pop, butter, and style it down the mountain, no problem, but when the time comes to run and gun, it has the guts to come through unscathed. Heck, this deck will do anything you ask. It's the G.O.A.T, after all.

HALFcamber60 – The patent-pending Cardiff HALFcamber places camber where it is absolutely necessary and gradual rocker everywhere else. The result is maximum glide, maneuverability and edge control. HALFcamber60 features camber underfoot on 60% of the deck.
Shape
PERFECTpivot 3.0 – Every Cardiff snowboard is uniquely designed to match the shape to the camber - resulting in a new standard of performance.
RADIcAL Sidecut – Blend of Radial and Progressive sidecuts are used on all CARDIFF boards to give each board a unique character.
BUTTERblunt Nose & WINGtail – This nose and tail are designed to allow easy transition from side to side but massive float without the extra length and weight of traditional powder shapes. This creates the perfect nose and tail to pop and butter.
FLOATilla – Designed with a shorter length but more float
Core
Pro Carbon Build – This is a true 100% carbon fiber construction build. The core is a lightweight poplar + paulownia mix with vertically laid aluminum strips which balances the carbon to give it a more damp ride. Splitboard models include added reinforcements under the toe piece and the ENDUROcap. The solid version uses a urethane SHOWtopper finish, which allows for quick and easy snow shedding.
BOARDERpatrol Technology – BOARDERpatrol technology uses poplar stringer which fuse with the UNIwall seamless urethane sidewall to reinforce the edge and provide an incredibly damp ride.

SHOWtopper SD – On both the Solid Enduro and Pro Carbon decks Cardiff use a unique process of printing graphics on a urethane topsheet which allow them to reveal the construction of the boards. This is then topped with a water-based lacquer.

Splitboarding A splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you've reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it's important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
