GNU Danny Kass BTX Snowboard 2009: Gnu Rider and Olympic Silver medalist Danny Kass has created a monster in his BTX Snowboard. He’s gone Gwen Stefani on the design – B-A-N-A-N-A-S – by adding Banana Technology (BTX) to his true twin shaped Pro model series.
Sandwich construction with UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sidewalls
BTX: Banana Technology and Magne-traction combined – Banana is revolutionary snowboard geometry (licensed from Lib Tech) featuring a “banana” rocker between your feet and flat to the tip and tails. The middle of your board is brought to life and the ends become more catch free to float or climb through tight transitions. Magne-traction gives you better control and edge hold with multiple points of contact on your edge. Slice through any snow condition, think of Magne-traction as a serrated knife blade cutting through the snow.
Quasi-Isotropic Glass: 4-way fiber orientation 0/45/45/90. Triaxial and biaxial glass combo for max pop and control.
Mervin AG2 Core: A perfect combination of Aspen and EISS 9 layered endgrain Birch., Sintered 9900 Base: Continuous compression formed for molecular elongation, preserving its amorphous polymer structure, for maximum wax absorption and durability.
True Twin Shape with Banana-Traction, a revolutionary snowboard specific geometry featuring a “banana” rocker between the feet and flat to the tip and tails.
