The CAPiTA Black Death Speed Tribe represents the epitome of all terrain freestyle design, CAPiTA presents the technical evolution of a classic. The Black Death Speed Tribe retains the sidecut theory of its award winning ancestor, but is an entirely new beast. With new and more freestyle inspired tip and tail shapes, snappier cores, full carbon fiberglass, and a bomb-proof sidewall construction, this new generation will undoubtedly retain the title of one of the best snowboards in the world. Advanced riders who are interested in hi energy, aggressive, and powerful performance will love the CAPiTA Black Death Speed Tribe.
CAPiTA Black Death Speed Tribe Features: DS SELECT CORE, 4x2 inserts, SUPER CARB fiberglass configuration with specially formulated Carbon Weave Fiberglass, Carbon Kevlar R2V reinforcements, Sintered 4000 Carbon speed base, DIE-cut base graphics, Full wrap around steel edges, “Window PAIN” Clear sidewalls, Gloss / Matte / Metallic screened topsheet graphics.
DS SELECT core - Built for the ultimate performance. Lightweight, with no irregularities or finger joints, the DS core is constructed with the highest quality poplar and beech woods. Beech is placed along the rail, enabling the rider to hold a solid edge while carving, eliminating chatter at high speeds and contributing more power to ollies and landings. Poplar is placed under-foot, tip-to-tail, for flex consistency and vibration absorption.
Progressive sidecut - A progressive sidecut consists of two or more radii blended together to accommodate the three stages of a turn. They provide easy turn initiation, while offering greater control and stability at high speeds and maximum power when exiting.
SIDEwall Construction – The engineering of Capita’s SIDEwall boards guarantee power and stability through each turn while dominating every modern riding environment. Woodcores are “sandwiched” on the top and bottom by fiberglass, while ABS rails are placed at the sides. This configuration provides a smooth response, increased dampening, and a solid, confident feel while ripping down the mountain.
