Product Info

Hit the park with the Burton Name Dropper Snowboard and before you know it you'll be name-dropping, people will be name-dropping your name, and chicks will be digit-dropping. Maybe that was an exaggeration, but the Burton Name Dropper is a bonafide park shreddin' wizard. Off-axis asymmetrical construction gives this board a super intuitive and natural flex pattern that matches your stance. Lightweight Super Fly® core with Dualzone™ EDG™ and Squeezebox tech drops the weight without sacrificing ride-ability or pop. Riding the Name Dropper is like bringing a NASCAR to a chariot race. The times have changed, the technology has spoken - you're gonna win!

Product Details

Rocker Type

Flat TopBurton's Flat Top snowboards are flat underfoot and a little beyond the bindings. This profile gives you ample stability underfoot, better balance and constant edge control. The tip and tail kick up slightly with an early rise outside of the feet so you gain that catch-free ride.

Flex

Twin FlexHaving a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.

Filet-O-FlexBurton's Filet-O-Flex is constructed by milling down the snowboard's core. The result is a soft board with strength, stability, durability, powerful pop and great edge-hold.

Shape

Flat KicksTip and tail profile optimized for servin' up presses and butters, plenty of pop too.

True TwinA true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.

Core

Dualzone™ EGD™The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold, and added strength.

Super Fly® CoreThe Super Fly® core lightweight and loaded with pop. It is constructed with layers of wood that create a 'vertical sandwich' to help improve the snowboard's snap and response. This core is great for freeride boards and adds durability and strength for park boards.

Off-Axis Squeezebox LowWith an easier feel that requires less effort to control, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling to the progressing or park rider

Laminates

Triax™ FiberglassThis laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.

Base

Sintered BaseSintered bases are super-fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Edges

Off-Axis FrostbiteFrostbite extends out slightly beneath bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Meaning they are powerful when you need them yet playful and forgiving when you don't.

Rail Ready™ TuneBeveled edges for slide-ability, but still sharp enough to hold a killer edge while carving or on lips.

Additional Features

Off-AxisTweaks key elements in the board's construction to match the typical park rider's stance angles. This anatomical alignment results in a natural flex around the bindings, and a smoother feel, grip, and connection during take-offs and landings.

Infinite Ride™Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Binding Compatibility

The Channel™Gives you the quickest, easiest way to mount your bindings with the most stance options possible: Take control of your stance and your board like never before, micro-adjust your width and angles with ALL major binding formats including EST®, Re:Flex™, and Disc. M6 hardware means it's compatible with all major binding companies, making it a choice for any rider.
