Burton Chopper Snowboard – Youth 2011: Easy Rider ™ on the Burton Chopper Snowboard lifts the edges off the snow to get kids on the right track from day one. The mellow camber and super soft flex make it easy for even the lightest weight shredders to gain balance and control. For the three smallest sizes, Burton developed grippy foot pads and a Riglet accessory that lets you tow junior around until he’s ready to rock bindings.

An advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Acting like a suspension, camber creates a lively ride capable of slicing and stomping the entire mountain. The twin flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile regular or switch, frontside or backside. Biax fiberglass features a jib-friendly, low torsional flex and forgiving, park friendly feel.
Construction and Core
The Super Fly Core is lightened up and loaded with pop. This vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response. Negative core profile is a team favorite; thinner sections of core between the bindings soften flex and torsion for a more playful feel and added foot control that’s perfect for everything from park to pow.
Base
The extruded base offers speed, strength, and graphical pop. Pass your friends without even waxing.
Sidewalls and Edges
Easy Rider technology means that the Burton Chopper Snowboard has beveled, catch-free edges to help kids learn faster and have more fun.
