FT-4 Baseplate – The FT-4 baseplate wedge design creates a predictable yet lively response, and transmits input with precision to get you and your board where you need to be.
EVA Foam Footbed – Full cushion heel to toe
Highback
FT-3 Aysm Highback – Hyper cored highback is in ergonomic alignment with your lower leg for increased power and control. The highback release lever is cleverly shifted to the side for quick reach around access. Full EVA padding wraps over the top of the highback down to the heel pocket for maximum comfort.
Reclining Highback – Makes entry and exit incredibly fast and easy with one hand! No more fumbling with ratchet buckles and ladders.

Micro Buckle – With the Micro Buckle, a rider can easily adjust strap tension on the go.
Thin Fit Toe Strap – Thin Fit Straps have an oversized surface area for extra stability and control. The flexible design conforms to the shape of your boot toe to secure fit.
Auto Open Lever – Auto Open Lever opens strap automatically when highback is lowered. Close easily with one click.
Additional Features
Pressure Relief Button – Press the button to relax ankle strap pressure on your front foot. Increased blood flow keeps feet comfortable and warm. Keeps your strap pre-sets in place for the ride down.

Beginner-Intermediate Whether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
