Flex Rating: 8 (1 Soft - 10 Very Stiff) – A stiff flex for advanced to expert riders looking for a stable and responsive binding.
Baseplate
Aluminum Alloy Rockered Baseplate – Engineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rockered corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex.
OC Kush Basepad – OC-Kush cushioning dampens landings and absorbs chatter. Featured on the NX2 series in the OC-Kush basepad, which fits perfectly to the rockered baseplate shape for efficient energy transfer. Some NX2 and Fuse series models feature an OC-Kush toe and keep impact inserts for additional comfort.
BankBeds – BankBeds are full-length EVA-footbeds with 2.5 degree canting for optimized fit, support, and energy transfer. Featured on the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series.
Highback
ModBack Hiback with Aluminum Alloy Heelcup – The modular hibacks separate the lower and upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. On the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series, the lower zone also automatically triggers N.A.S.T.Y.

With their revolutionary New Active Strap Technology (N.A.S.T.Y.), the strap automatically lifts you up when you open the reclining hiback and actively tightens again when you close the hiback. N.A.S.T.Y. reduces friction and creates more room so that getting in and out of your binding is faster and easier than ever.
Fusion Power Strap – The Fusion PowerStrap is 3D-shaped, fuses the ankle and toe zones over the midfoot, and is padded for a super comfortable form-fit to your boot. This PowerStrap provides maximum support and energy transmission.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
