Product Info

The Völkl Three Skis laugh at your puny 105 mm "all mountain" skis, earthling. Sidecut? Bah, overrated. Step up to the bottomless powder plate with these new bad boyz and surf that 9% fresh like it's corduroy, no lie. Völkl was just getting warmed up with the One and the Two, there were people and places that demanded more - here it is.

Product Details

Rocker Type

ELP Full RockerVölkl matches the sidecut and flex of the ski perfectly to give it a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail. This results in easy maneuverability in tight spaces and soft snow, but enables the skier to gain full edge contact when the ski is put on edge. Full Rocker skis have a slightly stiffer tip and softer mid-body to give you bomber stability, uncanny smoothness and easy turn initiation in one package.

Sidecut

Early Tapered SidecutTaper in the tip and tail allows the ski to steer in and out of the turn more easily in powder and gives you the freedom to choose any turn shape you wish.

Shape

They don't get much bigger or straighter than this . . .

Core

Multi-Layer Wood CoreVölkl freeskiing models feature a multi-layer wood core that features two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense, ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates more secure screw retention, preventing binding pull-out, and the soft, supple poplar section allows for resilience and snap. The flex pattern is tailored to each ski model, depending on the desired performance.

Laminates

Tough Box ConstructionVölkl protects the goods (in this case the Multi-Layer wood core) with a composite and fiberglass sheath for resiliance, durability and snap.

Power ConstructionConstruction utilizes traditional vertical sidewalls and a torsion box internal layup. Used in racing skis as well as all the freeskiing models, this versatile, proven construction provides tremendous grip, stability, and a smooth ride.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Ask your ski tech about the possibility of bending your brake arms to fit the 135 mm waist; most 130 mm brakes should work.
