Know what NFX stands for? Neither do we... But we do know the Salomon NFX Lab ski is a ludicrous park ski. Three years in the making and cooked up in the legendary Salomon Lab, the NFX has a full woodcore and a fully cambered profile. To stand up to the thrashings of the park the NFX has XL edges, Jib Tech bases, a full sandwich sidewalls, and pulse pad pro technology. Taken to X-Games, Dew Tour, and other podiums by Salomon athletes worldwide, the going theory is that NFX is for No F'in' X-cuses, ya-dig? With these on your feet, you'll need three hands so you can dish out more high-5's.

Full Camber – Fully cambered profile for solid edge hold and pop in the jump line.
Carve Zone – The traditionally cambered section of twin rocker skis, where the sidecut is focused for more power, energy and edge grip.

Full Wood Core – Full-length woodcore from tip to tail offers stability and powerful rebound
Laminates
Pulse Pad – Two layers of rubber elastomer in the tip, tail, and underfoot give shock absorption and improve durability of ski.

Full Sandwich Sidewalls – Full Length ABS sidewall with laminate construction creates extraordinarily smooth ski to snow contact with great terrain adaptation.

Park & Pipe Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones.
