Product Info

The versatile K2 Recoil Skis are back for another year of shreddage. The Recoil's predictable flex pattern and werewolf-proof durability have your butt covered. This is the biggest and most versatile twintip in K2's lineup, with enough girth to roll hard on the deep days as well as stomp tricks in the park. The Recoil is made with Tip and Tail Hardware and ABSorb sidewalls, so you know you can throw it onto a massive rail and not worry about a blowout.

Product Details

Rocker Type

All-Terrain RockerDesigned for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Sidecut

Bi-Directional SidecutThe tip is only slightly wider than the tail. This allows the ski to perform exceptionally well while skiing forward while the taper enables the skier to enjoy stable and consistent switch riding.

Core

Fir / Aspen

Laminates

Triaxial BraidTriaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.

Sidewalls

ABSorb TwinTech SidewallThis construction sandwiches a urethane layer in between ABS for shock ABSorption lessening the impact of harsh landings. Urethane is used underfoot to maximize the dampening, but ABS is used toward the tip and tail to maximize performance and edge control.

Base

Swap BaseSki bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.

Additional Features

Tip and Tail Hardware - Rivets for durability

Binding Compatibility

Bindings not included

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
