With the K2 MissDirected Skis the ladies finally get perfect blend of playfulness, floatation and stability for bagging big lines or bouncing off pillows in anything from the driest champagne powder to the heaviest mashed potatoes. Skiers will be impressed by the ski’s lightweight and nimble feel, yet surprised at how well it holds an edge on variable and even firmer snow thanks to its distinct camber underfoot.
Powder Rocker™ – The tip is designed for deep snow with the most elevated tip and longest measurement of rocker. All-Terrain Rocker™ in the tail is designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tail for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Directional Taper – A moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the ski’s performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
Powder Tip – Pulls the widest point of the tip further down the ski, which retains float in soft snow, and also minimizes deflection in adverse snow conditions.
BioFlex 3 Core – A combination of 80% dense Aspen core underfoot is fused with 20% lightweight Paulownia at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight with blended Bamboo throughout for strength and durability.
Triaxial Braiding – Consists of braiding fiberglass around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.
TwinTech Construction – Increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis by rolling the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse.
**Please note that base colors will alternate and may not arrive exactly as pictured.
Tip/Tail Hardware – Rivets originally designed for durability now have the additional option of attaching K2 Trim To Fit Skins for climbing.
3.5mm Edges are thicker and far more resistant to cracking.
Swap Base – Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.
