For the groomer addict who isn't ready to relinquish all-mountain exploration, K2 created the K2 iKonic 80 Ti Skis. These skis excel on all forms of hard pack and pop quickly from edge to edge thanks to their lively wood core. A titanal laminate that stretches the length of the ski provides for stability at speeds and increased control. Geared towards the more experienced all-mountain skier that wants to perform on groomers, confidently charge through crud, and blast through chewed up powder. Get the K2 iKonic 80 Ti Skis for an all-terrain weapon that will rip any resort run you put in front of it.
All-Terrain Rocker – Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Fir and Aspen – Solid woods for solid performance
K2 Konic Technology – Revolutionary core design that redistributes materials to the ski's perimeter providing power, strength, and stability directly over the edge for performance, while reducing swing-weight from the center and extremities for added ease and control.
Metal Laminate – Built from the base up, a metal laminate construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanal above and below the core. Metal laminates provide unshakable, damp and accurate performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers.
Triaxial Braid – Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.
Hybritech Sidewall – Hybritech is a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions. This combines the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
