The K2 A.M.P. Aftershock Skis come as the widest skis in the A.M.P. series. The Aftershock kills it in soft and chopped conditions. With the All-Terrain Rocker™ this ski excels off-piste, but still has enough power to shred the hard snow and carve trenches in whatever firm conditions it encounters.
All-Terrain Rocker™ – Designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions
Progressive Sidecut – A combination of two different radii that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis guaranteeing improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance
Aspen/Paulownia Core – Aspen is known for its inherent strength and durability, while the Paulownia is eco-friendly and lightweight.
Metal Laminate – Consists of 2 sheets of lightweight Titanal running the length of the ski: Alternating layers of fiberglass and Titanal sandwich the wood core to provide dampened, accurate, and unshakable performance.
Hybritech Sidewalls – A unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions that combine the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction
Mod Technology – A high-performance suspension system that absorbs vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge hold, power, and control: Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, leaving the overall ski flex unaffected.
Mod Monic – A focused mass-dampener made of a solid zinc mass that focuses mass dampening at a targeted location on the Mod structure
