You've got to admire Faction for not calling this the Dictator W or Princess Series, and for not de-tuning the build of the Faction Dictator 2.0X Skis. It's still got the burly flex, two sheets of Titanal, and full strength sidewall construction as the men's version and it rips just as hard. This is a no-compromise freeride ski for any and all conditions with plenty of heart and stability for both steep technical skiing and bombed out crud days. If you didn't know it already, you'd guess that Faction's female athletes rip just as hard as the guys.
Rocker / Camber / Rocker – 350 mm tip rocker, 4 mm camber, 200 mm subtle tail rocker
Flex: 7 / 10 – (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff)
Dual Radius Sidecut – Offers two different radii along a single edge. In front, a shorter radius provides quick response and control for tighter turns while a longer radius in the tail section is stable at high speeds. The result is a ski that surfs seamlessly between different turn angles and never drags.
Freeride Flat Tail – Traditional flat tail design is built for speed, ultimate edge grip and control throughout charging turns. Brought into the modern day with a slight tail rocker, this shape is easier than ever to slash your turn into a slarve and won't hook up in fresh conditions.
Surf Zones – Unites rocker and tip taper ensuring these two key features work in harmony. Rocker provides float and facilitates pivoting, while a tapered tip moves the widest part of the ski closer to the center and removes unwanted hooking. Surf Zones promise a floaty, seamless ride in all conditions.
Lightweight Paulownia/Poplar Core – Paulownia is a lightweight hardwood, combined with the softwood Poplar to add some flex and extra pop to the proceedings. The mix of these two woods results in a lightweight core with excellent responsiveness and rebound, complimenting and offsetting the two full layers of Titanal metal that are sandwiched to either side of it.
Dual Span Titanal – Two layers of Titanal aluminum alloy dampens the ride and rewards aggressive skiing.
Full Strength Sidewall Construction with Microcap – Sandwich sidewall construction for power and edgehold, with a topsheet that wraps around and meets the sidewall for durability.
