From tram laps to big mountain competitions, the Dynastar Cham 97 Skis are Chamonix tried and tested- and boy do they pass the test. Receiving 'Gear of the Year' award by Outside magazine and Ski Magazine's 'Gold Medal Gear' award, it is no secret that the Cham 97's are what legends are made of. Delivering high-performance freeride versatility that excels in the most challenging terrain, it offers an aggressive side cut coupled with titanal sandwich construction allowing the ski to be extremely maneuverable while retaining stability at speeds. The wide tip enhances float and the flat pin tail maximizes control and precise steer-ability in deep snow. Whether your objective is a technical line through variable snow or a spring day in the resort, the Dynastar Cham 97 will take care of business.
Tip Rocker – Moderate rocker at the tip only. For easier pivoting on flat skis with a smooth and forgiving feel in the turns. The rise is designed so that once the ski is on its edge, the ski works in the turn providing full-length edge contact.
Levitation Profile – The combination of a 5 point sidecut, extra long tip rocker, traditional camber underfoot and narrower pin-tail produces the reliability and versatility that are essential in freeride.
Wood Titanal – Traditional sandwich technology with wood core and two titanal layers that provide excellent stability in carving and greatly reduce torsional effects. The power is provided by two layers of fibreglass whose basic weight varies depending on the model and the desired skiability. The double melamine/phenol sidewalls ensure flexibility and power according to the skier's needs in the different phases of the turn.
Sandwich Construction – Sandwich construction with full-length straight sidewalls, for maximum precision and performance.
