The K2 Iron Maiden Skis make sure that when you're charging hard you'll always have Eddie on your side. This ski is built on the time-tested recoil chassis, meaning that you can slay the whole mountain and conquer urban features, when you're not ruling the park. This is combined with the Iron Maiden's ABSorb Sidewalls, which will take all the thrashing that you can throw at them, whether the hard hitting landings are coming in the park or off of hair-raising bomb drops in the city. Plus these skis come with the Marker Squire Schizo Bindings, a light, hard hitting binding that will give you the ultimate in flexibility and power.
All-Terrain Rocker™ – Designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions
Fir/Aspen Core – Solid and dense woods known for their inherent strength and durability
Triaxial Braiding – Fiberglass is braided around the wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, making the ski incredibly energetic and responsive.
TwinTech Construction – Increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis by rolling the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, severely reducing ski to ski impact damage
ABSorb Sidewall Construction – Sandwiching a urethane layer in between ABS for shock ABSorption lessens the impact of harsh landings to the rider. Urethane is used under foot to maximize the dampening but ABS is used toward the tip and tail to maximize performance and edge control.
Swap Base – Ski bases are made with inverse colors so that less material is wasted.
**Please note that base colors will alternate and may not arrive exactly as pictured.
Marker Squire Schizo Ski Bindings – Ideal for low to mid-range freeskiing skis, they allow the skier to transition from all mountain to pipe and park riding without missing a beat. Plus they come loaded with tons of useful tech, like the AFD Gliding Plate, Triple Pivot Light Toe, Hollow Linkage Heel, and 60 mm Multi-Stance Adjuster.
Triple Pivot Light – This compact design features a horizontally oriented spring, offering solid power transmission while remaining lightweight.
Hollow Linkage Heel – Featuring a hollow horizontal axle that saves weight and maximizes power transmission, the Hollow Linkage Heel is light but creates phenomenal power transmission.
AFD Gliding Plate – All marker bindings come equipped with a moveable AFD (anti-friction device) which allows for a precise release, unhindered by dirt, snow, or ice.
Multi Stance Adjustor – Allowing the stance to be moved fore/aft 6 cm allows for the ultimate versatility, setting the binding up for whatever the skier wants to throw at it with the simple turn of a screw on the toe piece.
Bindings Do Not Come Mounted to Skis – Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.
Tip/Tail Hardware – Rivets for durability
Bi-Directional Taper – The tip and tail are close in width (while the tail is still a bit narrower), which allows the ski to perform while skiing in the forward direction, while having a similar switch arc while riding switch. This makes the ski have better and more consistent switch riding.
