A bike for those who put fun above all else, the Santa Cruz Bicycles 5010 A R Complete Mountain Bike is a trail bike to depend on. Whether you’re slogging out backcountry miles or flicking it through doubles, it’s an agreeable bike that always surprises with its capability. With 27.5” wheels, 130mm of travel front and rear, and SRAM’s solid NX Eagle 12 speed drivetrain, this is a mountain bike for riders who value agility and trail feel. Whether it's precise trail surgery or getting loose on some jumps, this is a bike for fun-seekers.
130mm VPP® Suspension – VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines.
Fox Float Performance DPS – For a lightweight, inline shock, the DPS packs a lot of performance. The Dual Piston Base Valve has dedicated compression and rebound pistons, providing a firm lockout without compromising bump compliance, ride control, or efficiency. Performance Series FLOAT DPS shocks have fewer adjustments than Factory Series (no Open mode adjust tuning range), and have black anodized air sleeve and body instead of Genuine Kashima Coat. A Performance graphics package ties in the black-on-black look.
Shock Adjustments – Lever Actuated Open, Medium, Firm Modes / Rebound Adjust / Air Spring Pressure
Frame Update 3.0 – The 5010 sees a longer reach, slightly slacker head angle and steeper seat angle for a more optimized ride.
27.5 / 27.5+ Wheel Clearance – Clearance for up to 2.8-inch tires.
Bottle Cage Mount – Within the front triangle, fits piggyback shocks.
148mm Rear Axle Spacing
Angular Contact Bearings Maximize Stiffness
Integrated Headset
Threaded Bottom Bracket
Fox Rythm 34 – Designed for the aggressive trail rider, the 34 Rhythm features a GRIP damper, FLOAT air spring, and super lightweight chassis. The 34 provides proven trail performance that instills confidence and control.
Fork Adjustments – FIT GRIP 3-Position Lever (Open, Medium, Firm) | Rebound Adjust | Air Spring Pressure
SRAM NX Eagle™ – It's how you start that matters. Whether you're discovering the mountain for the first time or you're an MTB lifer searching for a no-nonsense, no-worries 1x drivetrain, SRAM NX Eagle is ready for action and ready to take you there. NX Eagle brings you a wide range of gear choices engineered for simplicity and durability, so you can focus on what matters most-the ride ahead. German engineered and proudly bearing the SRAM Eagle stamp of approval, NX Eagle is ready to let the world know what real riding feels like.
SRAM Guide T Brakeset – Guide T brings the consistent performance that you have come to expect from SRAM's lightweight Guide four-piston caliper. Pair this with MatchMaker™ for a clean looking bar set-up, plus the ease of use with SRAM's Bleeding Edge™ drip-free bleed port and you have a smart budget minded brake that keeps you in control.
Avid Centerline Rotors – The new Centerline Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
WTB ST i25 TCS 2.0 Rims Laced to SRAM MTH Hubs – 32 DT Swiss Competition spokes are triple-crossed to SRAM's aluminum trail hubs, giving you solid trail feel, quick engagement, and all-mountain durability.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
Race Face Aeffect Dropper Post – A rock solid option for riders wanting to enter the dropper market. A sealed damping system wrapped in 7075 aluminium makes for a lightweight dropper that can take the hits, complete with internal cable routing compatible with modern frame design.
