The Marin Wolf Ridge 8 Complete Mountain Bike will elicit some conversation in the parking lot, but that's to be expected. Its high chainstay and large bottom bracket area don't look like a lot of other bikes out there, so you'll have to deal with some lookie-lous when you're stopped. But as soon as you're rolling, the conversations will end, to be replaced with hoots, hollers, and the sound of the wind through your helmet. You see, this bike is insanely fast, mind-blowingly efficient, and did we mention how fast it is? It pedals as well as it descends, truly an all-mountain bike.
Unidirectional Carbon Construction – Marin utilizes the latest in high modulus carbon fiber technology and materials for the lightest and strongest frame possible.
NAILD R3ACT 2 Play Suspension – Acting on Newton’s Third Law that “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction,” this system provides unparalleled pedaling efficiency and bump compliance through a unique four-bar design and sliding suspension element. Naild’s R3ACT – 2 Play system uses an advanced kinematic that establishes a greater balance in load stabilization, minimizing unwanted energy losses.
Biometric Geometry and Ride Balance – Marin uses biometric fit data based on statistics of people’s body proportions, to develop the proper fit and weight distribution on each size of the Wolf Ridge. Using this data, they created four bike sizes that put each rider in the optimum position so that the center of gravity is the same for all sizes of people for balanced suspension kinematics, no matter the rider.
RockShox Monarch R Rear Shock – The Monarch is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Its lightweight design not only delivers silky smooth travel, but thanks to the Solo Air spring, it also delivers a spring rate you'd generally only get from a much heavier coil shock. So, you get a durable, fully adjustable shock capable of smoothing out the most aggressive trails, while simultaneously saving you weight for epic cross-country riding. Don't be fooled by its appearance. Like the wolf, its packaging doesn't always reveal what's inside.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / External Rebound Adjust
Internal Cable Routing – Full internal cable routing through the front and rear triangle requiring no zip ties or cable clamps for the cleanest look possible. 6061 forged cable entry clamps ensure your cables are neat.
148x12mm Boost Thru-Axle
RockShox Lyrik RC – For all the ups, downs and to get you to everything in between. Lyrik combines the DebonAir™ air spring with the trusted Charger™ RC damper. Maxima Plush fluid reduces friction, silences noise, and provides all-around lasting performance.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Low Speed Compression from Open to Firm / Rebound Adjust

With the all-new 520% range, all new colourways and seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, GX Eagle is there to maximize the potential of your ride experience.
Shimano XT M8000 – The refined caliper design of the new XT gives you predictable access to high powered and controlled braking for all MTB styles. Easy to maintain and adjust, these are lightweight and strong.
Rotors – 203mm Front / 180mm Rear
Stans's NoTubes Flow MK3 Rims Laced to Formula Hubs – A 29mm wide welded aluminum rim, the Flow MK3 is known for durability and no-nonsense performance. They resist dents and make for a trouble-free platform for today's aggressive trail tires.
WTB Vigilante Front Tire – With unwavering traction in every corner of the world, the Vigilante is a premier aggressive trail and enduro tire. It grips at lean angles like nobody's business, with prominent lugs and ample spacing.
WTB Breakout TCS Rear Tire – With a dual-ply casing and a fast rolling tread pattern, the Breakout is fast becoming a favorite of enduro racers. It has harder knobs through the center that roll very well on all terrain, and softer outer knobs that grip like heck when you're flying through a turn.
