G-1000® Original | 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton – G-1000 is Fjällräven's durable and versatile fabric, a proven outdoor classic for any type of adventure at any time of the year. The tightly woven fabric is made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton and has been waxed with Greenland Wax. This combination makes it extremely durable, highly breathable and also wind and water resistant. The impregnation of G-1000 products is easily renewed with Fjällräven's Greenland Wax.

G-1000® Heavy Duty (Shoulders and Rear) | 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton – G-1000 is tough, but G-1000 Heavy Duty goes a step further. Impregnated with Greenland Wax on both sides, it takes durability to a new level. This does mean it’s less ventilating than regular G-1000, so it's used for products where resilience, rather than airflow, is a priority. This translates to reinforcement materials – on places that are susceptible to extra hard wear – and for many of our bags and backpacks. Where smoothness is required, Fjällräven uses G-1000 Heavy Duty Eco S. It’s slightly lighter than the regular version, due to a finer weave, and it’s made from recycled polyester and organic cotton.

600 Fill Power Down Insulation | 80% Goose Down / 20% Feather – Fjällräven is known throughout the world for only using down of the highest quality. When you buy a down product from Fjällräven you can also be sure that the down used is the result of a process that takes the greatest possible care of the birds well-being. Thanks to Fjällräven's extensive experience, they have managed to establish a unique production process where all their down is 100% traceable -- right from the newly-hatched goslings to the completely down product. The down Fjällräven uses is a high quality by-product from the food industry. To ensure that it is never mixed with down from other, unethical sources (e.g. from birds that have been force-fed or live-plucked), it is handled in sealed sacks, which are checked in repeated tests at different stages of the production process.
