The Salomon Guardian 16 Large Ski Bindings have been delivering bomber performance to backcountry enthusiasts for two years now, and for 2015 they're even better. The addition of a sliding AFD (anti-friction device) now means they're "Multi-Norm Compatible" so you can use any boot that comforms to ISO 9523 standards (Alpine Touring) as well as alpine and WTR (Walk To Ride) boot soles. How cool is that? Ski the Guardian 16 with the same absolute confidence you have in Salomon alpine bindings (the heel is the same as the STH2) and enjoy the convenience of Salomon's ski pole accessible Hike & Ride Switch - no more taking off your skis to go into or out of touring mode.
