The top seller for expert level all-mountain skiers with narrow feet at evo (and probably everywhere else), the Atomic Hawx Ultra 120 S GW Ski Boots continue largely unchanged. Built for consistent flex throughout a range of winter temperatures with TrueFlex polyurethane shells, and with the potential for fitting a huge range of foot shapes due to Atomic's Memory Fit heat molding technology, the Ultra 120 S uses Atomic's top Mimic Platinum liner with 3M™ Thinsulate™ warmth built in and proven Prolite construction to keep the power in and excess weight off.
Last: 98 mm – A narrow last suitable for those with narrower than average feet (heat customizable to fit many average width feet).
Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
Flex: 120 – A stiff flex for advanced and larger individuals
Mimic Platinum Liner – This is a boot that feels right from the very start. The heel, ankle, and tongue feature a layer of supportive, heat-moldable material. After being softened in the oven, this material mimics the precise shape of your foot and hardens for a perfect custom fit.
3D Stretch Toe Box – Asymmetrically shaped for left and right, the new 3D Stretch Toe Box takes first fit and customization potential to the next level. Its ‘Big Toe Friendly’ construction maximizes the liner’s available length allowing for a little extra stretch when important millimeters are required to achieve the perfect fit.
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation – Keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions.
Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Tongue – Tongues can be swapped for lower or higher volume versions (extra tongues available separately).
Shell – True Flex Polyurethane
Cuff – Polyurethane
Prolite – Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Energy Backbone – A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.
Forward Lean – 15˚
3˚ Shell Rotation
Power Shift – Forward lean can be quickly adjusted to 13°, 15° (default) or 17°. Add a bolt on 110 / 120 models to stiffen flex. Remove a bolt on 130 model to soften flex.
Dual Sided Cuff Alignment
