The Transition Spur Carbon Deore Complete Mountain Bike turns "just pedaling along" into "speeding up". A slack short-travel ripper that's fully in the now, this is Transition's entry into the that hottest of bike types. Call it modern, call it Downcountry, just don't call it too little bike. Lightweight and strong carbon, this frame takes the awesome GiddyUp suspension and removes a pivot and hardware, utilizing a flex stay to save weight and make for a super poppy vibe on trail. Built up with Shimano's award-winning Deore level group and brakes, this may be all the bike anyone needs.
All Carbon Construction – Full carbon frame made from premium Japanese Toray fiber with a tailored blend of high quality materials to create a balance of frame stiffness, strength, and impact toughness. A new molding process makes for sharper frame lines and tighter edge radius controls with less wasted material.
Giddyup Suspension Design – The GiddyUp suspension, featuring a one-piece flex stay rear triangle, is tuned to work correctly with inline style rear shocks and designed to provide a balanced feel with 120mm travel forks. Riders are able to add or remove volume spacers in the rear shock to suit their individual riding style and there is plenty of bottom out control for when things get rowdy. The Spur has 120mm of rear wheel travel when used with the supplied 190mm x 45mm stroke shock. It is also possible to install a shorter, 190mm x 37.5mm stroke shock, to reduce the rear wheel travel to 100mm if you are after a shorter travel experience.
RockShox SIDLuxe Select+ Rear Shock – With a very low breakaway force and highly tuneable air spring, this shock transforms small bumps into traction-generators. It's designed for racers and makes any bike more balanced: a lightweight trail shock that can keep up with the world's fastest forks.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure, 2-Position Compression Damping (Open/Lock), Rebound Adjust
Pivot Technology – Collet main pivot technology improves rear end stiffness and keeps hardware tight. Bearing shields prevent main pivot contamination from water.
Frame Protection – Fully integrated, flush-mounted rubber frame protection on the chainstay and downtube keep your bike rides quiet and your frame safe from damage.
Badass Bearings – EnduroMAX suspension pivot specific bearings come in standard sizes that are readily available worldwide.
Gear Accessory Mount – An underside top-tube accessory mount allows you to carry a spare tube or other goodies safely on your frame.
Mega Seatpost Insertion – Dropper posts keep getting longer so Transition combined short seat tube lengths with mega seatpost insertion to help get your saddle completely out of the way.
Flex Stay – A flex stay system utilizes a carefully tuned carbon layup that removes pivot axles and bearings to save weight without compromising frame durability.
User Friendly Cable Routing – To simplify maintenance and keep your bike noise free, the rear derailleur cable is routed through guide tubes in the front triangle and chainstay.
Threaded Bottom Bracket – A standard 73mm threaded bottom bracket shell makes crankset maintenance hassle-free and prevents unwanted pressfit BB noises.
Water Bottle Mount

Equipped with the Charger™ 2 RL damper with 2-position compression, you're free to bury yourself into the pain cave with every pedal stroke.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure, 2-Position Compression Damping (Open/Lock), Rebound Adjust

Maxxis Dissector Front Tire – Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining cornering control. This versatile tire can be used as a front, a pair, or as a rear depending on trail conditions. It is ideal for dry and fast trails.
Maxxis Rekon Rear Tire – The Rekon is an aggressive trail tire inspired by the Ikon for intermediate and technical terrain. Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With confidence like this you can race more and scout less with the Rekon.
Stan's Arch D – The Arch D is ready to handle any all-day adventure you throw at it. Laced to reliable Shimano hubs, these rims have a 26mm internal width that's best suited for 2.25"-2.50" wide tires.
