As one of the first long travel 29ers to actually function, the Transition Sentinel Carbon GX Complete Mountain Bike is set up for victory, especially when dealing with steep terrain. Starting at the back, the Sentinel has wide and rigid Boost-148 spacing paired to 150mm of cushion with refined Giddyup 2.OHHH suspension. Up front, the brilliant Fox Float 36 Grip 2 Performance Elite spearheads good times from ascent to descent, along with a tailored Speed Balanced design that harnesses every pedal stroke of its 29" wheels and SRAM GX Eagle™ 12-speed drivetrain. All this creates a solid ride that's sure to draw out anyone's wild child - whether it's long days of pedaling up and down or steep, loamy descents.
All Carbon Construction – Full carbon frame made from premium Japanese Toray fiber with a tailored blend of high quality materials to create a balance of frame stiffness, strength, and impact toughness. A new molding process makes for sharper frame lines and tighter edge radius controls with less wasted material.
GiddyUp 2.0HH Suspension – Building upon the success of Transition's original GiddyUp suspension design, the new GiddyUp 2.0HH system has been refined for the modern two-wheel cowboy delivering a slightly firmer feel for more efficient pedaling, as well as more progressive travel that provides that extra little bit of bottom-out support when needed.
Fox Float X Performance Elite Rear Shock – Designed specifically to meet the demands of aggressive trail riders, the new Float X combines sophisticated damping and fade free performance with incredible light weight and outstanding structural integrity.
Speed Balanced Geometry – SBG ensures the bike maintains low speed agility, front wheel traction, and proper rider weight balance while actually increasing confidence in steep terrain and at high speeds. With SBG, a slacker head tube angle is combined with an all new reduced offset fork standard, preventing the front wheel from being too far in front of the rider. This improves front to rear weight distribution on the bike, which is often out of balance on long and slack bikes. One of SBG's greatest benefits is that it creates a confident steering feel that adapts to wheel speed. More stability when going fast, more agility on technical slow speed maneuvering as well as improved traction, control and confidence for any skill level of rider.

Rattle-Free Cable Routing
Molded Rubber Frame Protection
Fox Float 36 Grip 2 Performance Elite – Performance Elite forks retain the same adjustments, dampers, weight, and 7000 series aluminum upper tubes as Factory Series, but have black anodized upper tubes instead of Genuine Kashima Coat. In other words, this fork is as good as it gets!
SRAM GX Eagle – GX Eagle is your partner for all rides, all the time, all day. Long days, quick rides and everything in-between, GX Eagle is the ecosystem at its best. With the all new 520% range, all new colorways and seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, GX Eagle is there to maximize the potential of your ride experience.
SRAM Centerline Rotors – The Centerline rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation, thereby minimizing vibration, offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
SRAM Code RSC Brakeset – Code RSC is built from the elements that made Guide a benchmark in contemporary brake design and performance, and delivers an extra 15% power to shine in all heavy duty applications. SwingLink™ and Lever Pivot Bearings ensure a smooth and progressive feel at the lever, while the additional 30% positive fluid volume ensures consistent performance even when braking harder, more frequently or with a heavier mass to slow down.
Maxxis Assegai Front Tire – The Maxxis Assegai tire is named after the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. Greg Minnaar, a native of South Africa, thought it was a fitting name for a tire ready to do battle on the mountain. The tall knobs punch through dust and loam to find traction, but also offer support and confidence on wet roots and rocks. While other tires excel only in certain conditions, the new Maxxis Assegai is built to go fast everywhere.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
Stan's NoTubes Flow S1 Wheelset – Burly enough to handle the toughest of trails yet light enough to pedal all day, the Flow S1 is up for any challenge. Developed from rims ridden in Red Bull Rampage and raced on the World Cup DH circuit for years, the S1 is now ready for action. With a 1.6mm deeper profile and reinforced rim walls the new Flow S1 offers greater impact strength, for an even wider range of use, with only a minor weight gain. Strong and light 6061 alloy rims, stainless steel rim eyelets, and easily replaceable standard spokes mean the Flow S1 is built to last. Combined with faster-engaging, CNC-machined Neo hubs, the Flow S1 is the ultimate trail, all-mountain, and enduro wheelset.
